Merry Christmas Friends and Family!

I can hardly believe that another year has almost come and gone!! It has been a fun and busy year for our family!

Henry (10) is in the 5th grade this year. He is still a whiz! He enjoys school, playing the piano, video games, and FOOTBALL! Yup... he's traded in his love of Star Wars for a passion for football. He can almost always be found out in the yard tossing the ball in the air, or in his bedroom studying football stats. This fall he decided to join the Fantasy Football League with Erik, Uncle Karl and Uncle Levi and he has really enjoyed being a part of it. He is becoming quite a little man!!

Calvin (8) is in the 3rd grade and also loves school! He is still our project guy! He loves to build and put things together. It's great for me (I hate assembling things) ! I have him assembling shoe racks, wire CD organizers, shelves...you name it, he can figure it out! He may be Erik's future technician! He enjoys flag football, baseball, piano, Webkinz, and fixing puzzles with me!!

Lydia (6) is in the 1st grade. She and Calvin are in a combined 1st-3rd grade class. She has enjoyed being in school full time and being in the same class as her brother. She still loves horses and huskies...and begs us for a REAL one of either. It is pretty fun to be watching her spunky personality unfold before us! She has really become quite independent this past year!

Erik and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this year! We cannot believe how fast a decade goes!! As I look back at our 10 years of marriage, I feel overwhelmed with blessings! Erik and I are so thankful for each and every one of you and for the part that you play in our lives. We look forward to what the Lord has in store for 2009.
